RETURNING FURNITURE
Important Information:
When returning furniture to Møbelleje, please ensure that it is returned in the same clean and orderly condition as when you received it. This allows the furniture to be quickly and easily passed on to the next customer, while helping you avoid unnecessary fees.
Please also ensure that the items are sorted, organized, and ready for pickup, so we can quickly get an overview of whether everything is in order. Make sure your personal items are sorted, so we don't accidentally take anything that doesn't belong to us. We also kindly ask that you inform us without being prompted if something is damaged or missing, such as broken glass.
Furniture
Upholstered furniture must be thoroughly vacuumed – remember to vacuum both over and under the cushions on sofas and armchairs. Furniture with smooth surfaces, such as tables, can be cleaned with a cloth that is wrung out well. Be careful not to rub too hard on surfaces, especially textiles, as this can cause stains that are harder to remove than the original ones.
Kitchen Equipment
All kitchen utensils must be free of food residue and limescale and must be returned in a condition that allows them to be passed directly to the next customer. Pots, pans, and cookware can be cleaned with steel wool (but not on Teflon-coated surfaces). Coffee machines and kettles should be thoroughly cleaned and descaled, including the coffee filter on coffee machines.
Iron and Ironing Board
The iron and ironing board should be cleaned, and there should be no traces of glue or other burnt substances on the surface. Also, make sure the water reservoir is emptied of water.
Bedding and Mattresses
Bedding and the top thin mattress must be washed at 60°C and be completely clean. If it is not fully dry, please kindly inform us at the time of pickup. The same applies to towels. Bedding and towels should be returned sorted, neatly folded, and organized.
Top and roll-up mattresses will not be accepted for return if they are damaged, stained, or smell of urine or other liquids, for example, if there is urine on the bed. In such cases, a charge of 1,000 DKK per sleeping space will be billed for damaged mattresses.
All other items should be surface-cleaned and free of visible stains, including drawers, which should be emptied and cleaned.
Note:
We do not accept items for return if they are excessively dirty or damaged. Items that cannot be reused due to poor treatment or damage will be charged to you. This also applies to repairs, washing, cleaning, and disposal if necessary. If we assess that it is more expensive to clean or repair the items, you will be billed for a replacement item.
Pricing Information:
Hourly rate for handling cleaning and maintenance: 500 DKK plus VAT (625 DKK)
Washing of bedding: 50 DKK per set
Washing of towels: 25 DKK per piece, regardless of size
Washing of sheets or roll-up mattresses (the thin mattress that sits on top of the mattress): 50 DKK per piece, regardless of size
